Thank you for your willingness to help bring the streets to life this summer for the 2017 StreetsAlive! events.
Below are a few important pieces of information. I will be in touch with more info as we near the next event.
A route map with specific information regarding your location will be emailed to you the week leading up to StreetsAlive.
Please have your station/programming set up by 11:45am to be ready for participants on the route by noon. We ask that you do not begin tearing down until 5pm.
Parking space will be indicated in the map to be sent the week leading up to StreetsAlive. Do not park ON the StreetsAlive route.
Each organization is responsible for their own tables, chairs, and tents. If in need, you may order items from RentALL. The Order Form is due Monday, August 21st to firstname.lastname@example.org. The items would need to get picked up from RentALL on Saturday, August 26th anytime between 8AM and 5:30PM. If you do not submit an order to RentALL, please remember to supply your own tables, tent, etc., if needed. Shade is limited, so I encourage you to bring tents if you have.
If electricity is needed, we ask that you provide it, if possible. If not, we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
The following will be made available near your programming location:
Porta-potty or restroom
Water (for purchase) – we recommend bringing your own
1st Aid Kit
In the event that it is raining/storming during event day, we will modify or cancel the event.
We will let you know by 10:00 AM on Sunday morning if we are a GO for the day or if the event is called off. Event updates will be available on our Facebook page titled ‘FMStreetsAlive’. There you will be able to find information about delays or cancellations.
I will also try to send out an email that morning as soon as I can, but the Facebook page will be your best resource.
The day of the event, I can be reached on my cell phone at 218.686.8082. I recommend adding that to your phone just in case.
Let me know what questions you have.
Thanks for helping us bring the streets alive!
